Christopher Crowe

Chris is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology and pre-doctoral fellow in the Psychiatric Epidemiology Training Program. His primary goal as an epidemiologist is to facilitate the healthy aging of our population by better understanding how exposure to psychological and social factors throughout the life course may influence health during older adulthood. In addition, Chris is employed full-time as a biostatistician at Carelon Research, where he conducts health economics and outcomes research as well as pharmacoepidemiologic post-authorization safety studies for life sciences clients using real world data.
Outside of research work, Chris also has a strong interest in teaching and has experience both designing and delivering course content for undergraduate and graduate students. Most recently, he has worked as a teaching assistant for Epidemiology II: Design and Conduct of Observational Epidemiologyunder the supervision of Dr. Sharon Schwartz and (Y)our Longer Life under the supervision of Dean Linda Fried and Dr. Dana March Palmer.
