Christopher Crowe

Christopher’s primary goal as an epidemiologist is to facilitate the healthy aging of our population by better understanding how exposure to psychological and social factors throughout the life course may influence health during older adulthood. Christopher is currently under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Tom, where his research aims to evaluate potential causal relationships between structural, functional, and quality aspects of social connection or the lack thereof (e.g., social isolation, perceived loneliness) and cognitive health outcomes (e.g., cognitive decline, dementia) among older adults. Outside of his research work, Christopher also has a strong interest in teaching and has experience both designing and delivering course content for undergraduate and graduate students.
